In 2023, under the expert direction of Jordan Travis, we won Harmony’s International Chorus Championship in Grand Rapids, Michigan, marking our fifth gold medal win — our previous championships were in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019.
In 2008, we became the first Canadian women’s barbershop chorus to perform at the renowned St. Petersburg International Music Festival in Russia. That same year, we were honoured as runners-up in CBC Radio’s Choral Competition. In 2012, our chorus competed at the World Choir Games in Cincinnati, earning a silver medal in the newly-introduced Barbershop category.
With over 90 members hailing from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, we rehearse weekly in Waterdown, Ont. to learn and refine our repertoire of show tunes, contemporary hits, and timeless classics. We love entertaining audiences large and small with energy, heart, and artistry.

Harmony, Inc. is an international, non-profit organization whose purpose is to empower all women through education, friendship and a cappella singing in the barbershop style.Since 1959, the organization has expanded from its Eastern roots to include chapters in the United States and Canada from California to Newfoundland, and from Manitoba to Florida. Contests and conventions are held each year for the purposes of educating members in the performance of the craft, bringing together the membership to see the best perform, to inform the membership of the status and direction of the organization, and to encourage an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie.
With steady growth in membership, a gradual geographic expansion, continuous improvement in the quality of performances, and the determination to abide by its democratic principles and maintain its unique "Blend With Friendship" the future looks bright for Harmony, Inc.
